Lee and Jacque were so efficient that I asked them to do the decorating as well. Lee manipulated the sander on the ceiling and walls and jaqu got on with cutting in the edges before the industrial size rollers were put to work

While they decorated, I got on with installing the vertical supports for the external wall upstairs.

And started to investigate how and at what level the ceiling should be installed on its suspended fittings. It needs to be a bit lower to meet the stone wall.

By the end of the day they had finished all the final plastering and applied two coats of paint to all surfaces. The transformation was amazing. Lee also found time to seal the window frame/plasterboard interfaces and around the kitchen and dining room beams. The lights are still hanging down and the cover plates missing for the sockets and switches but it gives a good feel for what will be the finished rooms.
