I turned up late in the morning to find the new beam had been installed and levelled and most of the external concreting had been done.

The workshop and BBQ area that leads into the bike store and around to the patio. There was a bit of concrete left over so we have used it as a base to the pathway next to the house. All looks quite impressive. I now need to get on with the installation of the first floor to enable them to work on the new window openings on the upper floor.
