Raining lightly when I arrived so I started outside bit it soon became too heavy and I was forced inside.

So, I started to assemble the next staircase which I discovered is in three parts not two like the one up to the upper mezzanine. I also moved another level of the oak flooring upstairs as the rain came down.

Eventually after lunch the rain stoopped and later the sun even came out. I was able to work outside on cladding the reveals of the window upstairs and the smaller, entrance doorway.

From a distance it is looking finished but actually there are bits on the right of the window and at the left upper edge that still need to be clad. Next week.
