More Minor Changes and First Floor Flooring 6
The finished repair of the front arch.
Some changes to the kerbstones. The heat pump position had to be changed (the base was extended some time ago for it) so the pathway became too narrow near the corner of the pump. Consequently, I have asked them to reposition the kerbs to make the path wider at that point.
The compressor was not part of the original plan (it was a later suggestion by MG Habitat to enable cooling of the house in the summer) so it covered half of the flower bed. That has now been divided with a kerbstone so that the pathway can extend under the compressor and the flower bed is reduced.
Outside the garden store the missing kerbs have been fitted. May still need one at the end by the fencing.
Inside, the shuttering on the windows have been removed to reveal the new sills.
A large, circular, concrete base has been installed for the fountain and Florent has dug trenches to bury the cabling for the stone table area and also for the future sewage system.
Ventilation holes have been drilled through for the ventilation points for the kitchen, utility and tumble drier.
Meanwhile, I continue with the oak parquet on the first floor.
