Back to emptying the hay and straw from upstairs while waiting for another windows quotation company to arrive. Although most of the straw is loose, some remains in bales and today I concentrated on getting them downstairs.
Most were OK but some I have left on the cleared mezzanine floor as they need rebinding to make them safe to move. If they are not rebound, they will just fall apart as they are taken (thrown) downstairs.
I managed to save quite a few and hopefully someone might be interested in collecting the bales for insulation.
Not sure what I can do with the loose stuff. There is a lot of it still to come down. I am exploring giving it to an SPA for rescued horses but transport may be an issue.
