Got round to diggingg the trench to the BBQ and installing the water main which was the last piece to go in. So, with all the water laid, I can start to backfill. The water is installed much lower than the electrical services as it needs to be protected from potential ground frost damage (almost unheard of in this area).

However, before I can dig the trenches for the electrical (alongside the water, not over it) I need to backfill to provide a working surface for the digger.
