Windows and Timber Frame Installation 18
The weather is not good again today and I need to leave early to collect some furniture near Poitiers.
The supplied windows do not have an extended cill tray so I will have to organise some fittings to go under the built in cills that extends beyond the wooden frame to ensure water can be run off the three windows in the timber frame. I have taken these photos to send to Alain to try to find a metal worker in the area that can do it for me.
The weather finally dried enough to allow me to do more cladding around the second window over the large doors.
While it was raining I finally got around to repairing my French shovel. The photo shows the old handle that was burned to a stump in the fire and the shovel with its new handle.
