What a miserable day! Almost non-stop rain during the morning which flooded the site making it difficult to do the concreting of the bases for the pergola posts for the car park. In the brief snatches of sunshine the holes were first filled with concrete then once they were relatively solid, the support blocks were added, fitted with re-bar and filled to the correct level.

At the same time, we once more dug a trench across the front of the gates to lay the fibre optic gaine to the required position. I had to wait until quite late to filll it back in as the gain kept floating! In the end I held it down with some stones before adding sand to hold it in place.

As it was raining I worked inside on the attic floor, fitting and fixing the available OSB panels around the hatch opening. Not quite finished.
