Florent’s team of workers have left for the moment as we are waiting on information for the sewage treatment plant before continuing so I am on site alone. I have finished the last part of the attic floor as far as I can go. To lay more floor I will need to lift the temporary floor I installed below for the windows to be opened in the walls. I still need a floor there until the windows are fitted and the building weathertight as I do not want to risk any water damage on the final oak floor on that level.
As I am stuck on the floor I turned my attention to getting more of the noggins in place for the middle section of the attic floor.
I am ordering some more OSB that is thinner (12 mm instead of 22 mm) for the attic ceiling so will probably use that double thickness for the windows and transfer the 22mm floor up to the attic. However I may as well wait for the beams to arrive (on the same order) to finish the joists first.
The replacement panels for the two damaged in transport have arrived.
