Although the first floor rooms are ready I also want to get the upper mezzanine prepared for jointing and painting. To do that sensibly, I need to plasterboard the wall that rises from the ground floor so that there is an apparently seamless joint across the wall. I cannot do it all to the top but even as it is the roll of vapour barrier is 6m long! Reminds me of wallpapering the hallway at the old house.

In order to access the wall I have taken down the left side handrail. it is still tight but I can get the vapour barrier and plasterboards in OK.

I dropped the rolled up barrier a section at a time and that worked well.

I slid the plasterboard in from left to right by manipulating it from above on the stairs. The Legrand gateway socket (which interfaces all the intelligent equipment to the iPhone) is finally installed into a wall.
