Well, actually it is their contractors. they made a good start but managed to dig through the mains and cut off the water to all our neighbours. I was very popular. Had to wait until lunch time for the RESE engineer to arrive with the repair material which involved inserting and clamping a new section of pipe underwater. Finally they were able to drain it.

Time for lunch in the garden.

After lunch they were able to fit then refill the ground around the new meter box and valve. Sadly still not water as RESE have to come back another day to fit the meter before the service can be made live.

While all the excitement was going on in the road, I continued with moving the stones from the downstairs rooms. Good progress I thought.
