Ground Floor Tiling 5
Big panic today. I realised a few days ago that I had not installed a drainage outlet for the shower on the ground floor. So I have urgently organised some components and today I am cutting then chopping out the concrete (avoiding the precious heating pipes you can just see in white) to install the outlet.
Midway through this, the travertine arrived and surprise, surprise the lorry did not have a forklift capable of getting the slabs into the property. So I have arranged for them to be left outside overnight and urgently organised a forklift machine for tomorrow to take them to the house.
A bit more damage than I would have liked. Noted with the driver and I will inspect closer when the crates are opened.
