First Floor Flooring 1
So, with the upper mezzanine done I have moved to the lower mezzanine which is also the first floor and made a start on the oak flooring. I have had to jigsaw the boarding around the existing beam which has worked out well.
I then had to release the stair case and add some supports that replicate the depth of the oak panel that will be inserted in order to fix the stair feet in the right position. As you can see I rigged some temporary supports to hold it while the changes were made. Once enough flooring was down I was able to release it and bolt it in place. Level!
