Tidying Up
Another miserable, wet day. Not an issue as I planned to work inside today. First job was a serious tidy up as I need to get the ground floor cleared and ready for the underfloor heating pipes. So the offcuts of cladding have been sorted and stacked and the floors swept. Sadly, as soon as I started to cut the scrap wood for future fire kindling, another mess appeared!
As part of the tidy up I gathered all the pieces of insulation left over from installing the original floor and cut them to fit in the timber frame around the doors. there was a surprising amount left over and the parts I have filled are three layers deep (300mm) so not much heat will be lost there.
