Windows and Timber Frame Installation 20
The morning began dry and bright so I was able to work on the cladding over the smaller set of doors. I managed to install the piece on the left easily enough but the right side was a bit more difficult as I had to line up both the window and the doors and scribe the wood to their outlines and then the wall.
I managed to get it finished before the rain came yet again. Apart from the windows, all that now remains is the concrete post we installed to strengthen the wall and support one of the main beams in the house. I have pre-cut the planks in preparation for a drier day.
While it was raining I finished moving all the oak flooring upstairs. I can now think about marking out the floor for the underfloor heating installation.
