Windows and Timber Frame Installation 14
After finishing the pear tree I started back on the horizontal supports which are now all in. So I have begun installing more of the plywood.
Meanwhile, Xavier and Kevin of Socover are back on site to finish the window installation.
You can see below the extra plywood but more importantly the first of the windows in the timber wall has been fitted.
They have also changed one of the doors so it can be used as a locking front door and added new, easier to use handles.
While I continued with the plywood, Kevin mastic sealed the windows from the outside and Xavier set about installing the emergency exit volets for the utility room door. They are the only ones that are hinged rather than drop down shutters.
After they had left, I continued with the plywood until the entire wall was closed off.
