Took Valentine’s Day off! Back to work today.

On the last leg for the timber frame. I still have to finish some of the horizontal pieces but wanted to deal with the difficult section where I am retaining the stone as it is tight and awkward to access and I want to protect the wall as it goes up from the incessant rain we are having. It was less difficult than I feared although fixing it was a nightmare. It is jammed with wood behind the stone and will eventually be smothered in PU foam to protect it and hold it in place.

By the end of the day most of the protective paper was up.
