I had to coordinate Florent to come to site with his Manitou extending forklift to get the staircases into the house. They arrived flat packed and were then deposited outside the gates for me to lift and manoeuvre.
After carefully crossing the concrete kerbs (using some of the wall stones as supports) he was able to extend the beam through the opened patio doors.
Once that was done they turned their attention to enlarging the concrete base for the heat pump as I had given them the wrong dimensions initially. It is now ready for MG Habitat to come and install the pump and the water tanks for the heating and hot water system as the first phase of their work.
At the same time additional electrical gaines have been installed to provide supplies for the sewage system and for the garden stone table area under the cherry tree. Will also be able to use it for the pool if we ever install one.
