Yesterday and today I continued with the framework around the window above the smaller doorway while Esteban bolted the high level timbers to the walls above the larger doorway.

Fitted a temporary cover to the plywood as the rain is coming back again.

During the morning the fitters returned and put the rear arch window in place with the shutter box on top. Still disappointed with it, especially as we spent so much to lift the lintel. At least now the house is secure and lockable on the ground floor. The window looks nice, just too short.
