The new oak beams are laid in place and inserted into new holes in the wall before being enclosed. A stairwell space needs to be made but I can get a good idea of the space available.

Externally the paths are looking good with the calcaire laid over the rubble and work has begun installing the new enclosing garden fencing and gate. We needed to adjust the ground levels as they were too low and consequently decided to concrete the posts rather than hammer them in place.
