It is Sunday and I have come in to do some final touches before Lee arrives next week. He has asked me to foam fill any large gaps in the boards. They will be cut back once dried to give a surface for jointing on to. This corner example is in the mezzanine cupboard space.

Some of the gaps were not suitable for foam so I have filled them with plaster. All the plastering areas have to have the floor protected so I have been laying tarpaulins, cardboard and scraps of plastic to protect the oak and travertine. Filling the joints (and actually installing the plasterboard) was done using my folding steps but I really need to get a proper bandstand and platform in for Lee to work on.
