First Floor Flooring 12, Workshop Interior 1, Staircase 1
In order to continue with the flooring upstairs I have laid the second plywood sheet for the en-suite but still need some more to trim off the end which is at an odd angle.
In the workshop I have started cladding the interior to get some shelving in as I am going to have to clear the patios shortly for the tilers return. As you can see I have moved materials onto the garden to clear the patio.
To access the end of the floor I have also had to move all the piles of oak. As I now intend laying travertine in the bathrooms I have saved several square meters of oak parquet. Some of it will now be used for the window sills.
With the floor finished at the base of the stairs, I am now able to install the staircase. First piece went in this afternoon.
