Upper Mezzanine Floor 9
Good progress on the floor. The end will need to be trimmed against the beam and then cloaked by the oak panel when it finally arrives. I can now stand on it to work from.
I am pretty disappointed with the parquet. the wood is fine but it has been stored outside in wet weather and that has stained the top surface of some of the pieces. Also, the undersides of the panels are really not good and as this floor will be visible from below, I am having to select the wood carefully so it is clean on both sides. All a bit time consuming.
End result is looking good though.
