PV Panels 6
Each panel has its own inverter (so if a panel or an inverter fail, the rest of the system still keeps working). These are all connected via cables and plugs. It is a 3 phase system so from one panel connecter to the next the cable is rotated 120 degrees to change the phase. This balances the system so each group of 3 panels represents a full phase cycle.
The system will eventually be controlled over WiFi and we will be able to monitor individual panel output. To do this it is necessary to record the serial number of each panel in a panel map. One for each roof.
