No work or photos today, just talking. Despite the problems with the windows the company (Socover) are determined to get things right for us and recognise that errors have been made. A supplementary meeting has been set up for the New Year with the factory to discuss solutions to all the issues.

However, it appears that the reason that the large rear arch window is too short is because the electric shutter (Volet) above has a limited drop and that has determined the maximum height of the window. The problem of the other existing windows cannot be explained away and they have agreed to replace them if we want them to do so. To help, the fitters are returning on 21st December to refit the rear arch window with the shutter section on top so we can look at it installed from both inside and outside before making a decision.

Hopefully the meeting in early January will provide a solution. We will wait and see.
