Ground Floor Tiling 9
Saturday morning and the tilers arrive. Metawaley (who cannot drive or speak French, in red) and Oury (who can only work on weekends, drives and translates to arabic). I laid out the lines for them but they did not always follow them but the end result is more than acceptable.
They were going to use 3mm spacers but I upped it to 5mm as they just looked too close together.
By the end of the first day they had made good progress.
Outside I de-stoned some soil to go around the fountain and spent time clearing items from the garden and storing them as Florent will soon be back to do the levelling and I do not want anything in his way.
This top corner will have to be finished by me but it is at the right level so will not be too much of a problem.
