Back to the shower drainage as the drains have arrived and the tilers are due to start on Saturday. This must be finished for them so I need to progress it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First I had to cut out the hole for the drain, then set the levels of the drain and the pipe to fit the flooring tiles and allow the water to be removed. Once I was happy, it was backfilled with some screed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next issue is to lay the shower floor to a fall so that the water runs down to the drain. I have started by laying the front edge of the shower at the height I want to achieve (essentially one tile thickness).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I now need to fill in the base at a fall so the tiles can be laid directly on to it to achieve the required result but it is getting late so that will have to wait until tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
