I am using some of the oak I cut that was not used to support the electrical panel in the car park. Stephane is coming tomorrow to redo the plumbing so I have taken it apart and disconnected the electrics to get on with this wall and the panel. it is not in a particularly good state and I want to eventually rejoint all the walls so I am going to do that part of the wall that will be hidden behind the panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here I have opened all the joints to remove the flaky old mortar with my portable jack hammer. I have then squeezed new mortar identical to that used on the house into the joints. Normally I would brush it back at this stage but as most of it will not be seen I am leaving it as is and only cleaning up around the edges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the mortar in I have then fitted the oak timbers and then started to do the panelling. Just engh to give Stephane to fix the pipes to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
