Excellent weather for opening the doors and tidying up the interior before offloading the latest timber delivery. Florent has once again organised the purchase and lent me his lorry to bring it to site. Esteban was due to be here to help but a late message about his van not starting left me on my own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So first, one piece at a time to guard my back, the staircase parts were moved upstairs. I then offloaded the OSB sheets for the attic floor followed by the timbers to finish the timber frame for the house and also for the workshop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a break for lunch I drilled the wall in the attic for the cables and fitted the satellite dish. Just need to add some electrics and a receiver and I will be able to watch TV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As working outside was pleasant I finally fitted the wind braces to the car park roof that have been waiting for some time. Construction officially finished here. Just the PV panels still to go on and a timber wall for the electrics and plumbing to be fitted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
